It’s really hard buying gifts for a guitar or bass player. They either have everything they need, or the things they want are outside of their budget, let alone what you are able to spend for an Xmas present. Here’s something I’ll bet they don’t have. I’m going to provide a link for it. It’s not the only place you can get it, but it may be the best value for money. I also want to tell you a bit of a story.
Don’t be Fooled by Claims of Unique Product
I found out about this product through a Facebook advertisement from an affiliate marketer. Now I am also offering this product as an affiliate marketer, so please don’t think I’m knocking the concept.
This is something I am trying out and if you click on the image or my link, you will get an awesome deal, with a sharp price and in most parts of the world, free delivery. I will get a little something for my trouble, but it doesn’t get added to your cost.
So what am I on about?
The Facebook advertisement which told me this product existed was very well done, with awesome graphics, a video and more. BUT, they claimed that the product was unique to them and talked about the research they had put into it and effectively made out that their website was the only place you could get it.
This is the second time this happened to me, and both times, not only did I find the same product on Ali Express, I bought it and got it cheaper, then from their very professionally presented site.
Where are my keys?
So you’re off to a gig and you have prepared your gig bag, your set list and you’re ready to load the car, and……. Where are those keys? Happens to all of us right? But how stressful is it, when you need to get moving because the gig is in half an hour and without your keys you aren’t going anywhere.
If you have a Cool Keyring
If you have a cool key ring you might be less inclined to forget where you left it. A guitar amp plug is pretty much perfect isn’t it?
I don’t know about you, but key rings are a dime a dozen and most of them are both flimsy and boring. This one is neither of those. It looks great and is an excellent topic starter.
Don’t try this at home folks, I haven’t tried it yet, but I suspect that it would be safe to put it in a spare amp jack when you are at the gig as well. There’s nothing worse then your keys tapping against your instrument, or rattling while you are up on stage. If the connections aren’t shorted out (I’ll have to tell you when mine arrives), where better to leave it while you are performing, then plugged into your amp. You can’t forget it, because your amp is going home with you, or even if it isn’t, you have to turn it off and unplug your instruments, so you don’t have to remember where you left them.
But Wait There’s More
As you can see on the picture, the key rings plug into a replica front of a Marshall JCM 800 amplifier. Marshall is of course one of the premium amp brands, especially in the British market, but really all over the world.
This package comes with 4 key rings and the amp facia which you can mount on the wall by your front door, of course has 4 sockets in it. One for each member of the family perhaps.
Now you just need to make it a habit to plug your keys in, whenever you get home and you will always remember where you left them.
This is an awesome birthday present or Christmas gift for the muso who has everything. Singer songwriter, guitarist, bass player, anyone who uses an amp is going to love this. It will be a talking point for people coming in the door and I have never seen one of these in a music shop.
I’m really bad at leaving Christmas presents to the last minute. Then I’m wandering around possibly visiting shops with lots of other glum stressed out looking people, settling for gifts that are OK, but perhaps show that you didn’t put much time and effort into buying that gift. Why not click on this link now and get it over and done with. He or she will love you for it.
